A characteristic of the highly dynamic automotive market is the diversity of requirements for vehicles, their functions and systems. This spectrum is further expanded by requirements from the areas of mobile services, IT and data science. This does not simplify the security tasks. In order to counteract this situation, ServiceXpert Gesellschaft für Service-Informationssysteme mbH acts as a proactive engineering service provider with agile cooperation of its EE engineers across the different process development phases.

Particularly important is ensuring the range of functions and quality, during the validation of system and vehicle intensive tests that take place at the end of the product development chain. In addition to classic tasks such as creating test specifications, carrying out tests on the test bench and on the vehicle, analyzing log files and troubleshooting, the ServiceXpert engineers provide - through independent and responsible action, a good networking within their own company network that includes the ESG Group and of course the customer - swift and adequate answers for the various challenges and questions, additionally it proactively contributes to solving any problem that will arise.

The engineers, among other things, use the tool chains of established manufacturers in order to carry out tests and - where possible - to automate them, to flash and parameterize control units.

As an expertise center, ServiceXpert is often approached by both OEMs and suppliers, in order to provide advice and assistance, to provide solutions at short notice, to participate in intensive workshops that range from error analysis to implementing solutions.

In addition, the ServiceXpert validation team uses both standard and project-specifically configured tools for daily tasks such as the creation of test specifications, test execution, automation, analysis and test documentation. This reduces the susceptibility to errors and increases quality and efficiency. In addition, further requirements can be met through tool extensions.

Memorable is the knowledge the engineers have regarding the Instrument cluster, with regard to all vehicle function coverage including their messages, this also including complete integration of adjoining control units.

The experts use their in-depth understanding of the current standards in hardware and software development regarding everything that includes interior and chassis electronics as well as a broad technology portfolio for functional validation at component, system and vehicle level, including test specification, test script creation and test evaluation.
